Ken Halsall b. 1928, West Derby, Liverpool is a British painter and ceramicist based in Cumbria.
Ken studied Fine Art at Liverpool College of Art 1948 – 1955. He taught Fine Art in Essex (50’s), Fine Art and Pottery in Manchester (60’s) and in Cumbria (70-90’s). He was chief examiner for Art, for secondary schools in the North of England, from 1978 – 1990. Ken had two potteries on North Stainmore, Upper Eden Valley, Cumbria – at Light Trees (1975 – 1982) which also had a small gallery and shop open to the public and at West Dowgill (1984 – 1998).
